Corporate Reporting
The Equality and Human Rights Commission is the independent regulator for equality, human rights and good relations in Britain. We are a statutory body established under the Equality Act 2006 and our sponsor government department is the Government Equalities Office within the Department for Education (DfE).
Annual Reports and Accounts
The Commission publishes an annual report and accounts for each business year. This is a requirement as a public-funded body, but also demonstrates how we have met our strategic objectives and business plan targets in that year.

Government transparency
The Government has made a specific commitment to publish details of how Government departments and the agencies they sponsor are using public funds in order to increase transparency. This includes details of expenditure, tenders and contracts issued and salaries, see also Procurement Portal, Contracts Finder. Departments are asked to publish their expenditure information taking a consistent approach to timing, format and content, and so we follow guidance available on HM Treasury website and publish the information in conjunction with our sponsor department, the Department for Education
