Research report 75: Monitoring equality - Developing a gender identity question & Technical note: Measuring gender identity

We commissioned this research study to develop and cognitively test new gender identity questions that can be used by public bodies when carrying out equality monitoring, and that can be understood and answered by people who are transgender and non-transgender.
